This is a Full Time position with an open schedule available at both the Holiday Inn Express and Hampton Inn Savannah Historic District.
Summary:
Performs a combination of duties to maintain and repair entire hotel facility, property, and grounds to maintain hotel standards using a variety of machines, tools, and equipment.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assists with preventive maintenance and completes minor repair work orders.
  • Assists in checking electrical systems and making minor repairs and/or replacements.
  • Assists in checking and making general repairs of general plumbing systems and fixtures.
  • Refurbishes furniture and fixtures within guest rooms.
  • Paints and finishes furniture and fixtures in guest rooms if needed.
  • Responds courteously to all guest questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

  • Basic English reading and writing skills

Prepares and sets up breakfast foods and amenities to maintain hotel premises and continental breakfast area in a clean, well-stocked, attractively presented, and orderly manner to convey a friendly, hospitable, and helpful image that contributes to the overall breakfast experience.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Cleans, stocks, and services the breakfast area in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards within the allotted amount of time
  • Promptly removes used guest amenities and trash to maintain a clear and clean eating environment
  • Replenishes breakfast items and amenities
  • Prepares, counts, and verifies breakfast inventory orders and shipments
  • Completes required food handlers’ workshop as required by state guidelines

Summary:
Cleans hotel guest rooms and public areas in a timely and organized manner to ensure guests’ satisfaction and that hotel cleanliness standers are met.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Cleans and services assigned guest rooms in a timely and organized manner according to procedures and standards
  • Notifies supervisor when service is complete
  • Reports needed repairs or unsafe conditions to supervisor
  • Shampoos carpet, strips, and waxes floors throughout the hotel
  • Cleans designated areas such as the lobby, public restrooms, public areas, and back of house areas on hotel property
  • Collects trash throughout the hotel including room attendants’ carts, vending and room service areas, offices, and restrooms
  • Responds to housekeeping requests from guests or management
  • Maintains security of equipment, keys, and supplies issued each day
  • Reports lost and found articles to supervisor
  • Greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly manner
Minimum Qualifications:

Summary:

Responsible for greeting and registering guests throughout the check-in process, keeping attentive coordination of hotel services for guests thought out their stay, and keeping guest satisfaction through the check-out process. Also, assists guest with booking rooms by phone or in-person and communicate guests’ needs to the responsible department.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Registers guests into the hotel in a prompt and courteous manner
  • Prepares for group check-in and out and VIP arrivals
  • Checks guests out of the hotel
  • Books guest reservations or coordinates with reservation center
  • Responds to guest requests promptly
  • Provides guests with information such as local attractions and directions to increase guest satisfaction
  • Resolves minor guest complaints to the satisfaction of the customer
  • Informs supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances, or unhappy guests
  • Handles departmental accounting of monies, receipts, guest accounts, and other forms of credit; posts all charges; completes cashier’s report, prepares deposit, and counts cashier bank
  • Issues, controls, and releases guest safe deposit box
  • Demonstrates a thorough knowledge of hotel information including, but not limited to, room categories, room rates, packages, promotions

Summary:

Assist guests by transporting luggage to and from the lobby to the guests’ rooms or vehicles and to maximize guest satisfaction.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist incoming and outgoing guests by carrying baggage to and from their rooms
  • Ensures baggage is secured and tags at guest request to store luggage
  • Provides guests with local directions in a courteous and accurate manner
  • May accept dry cleaning from guests and secure it for pick-up by the dry-cleaning company
  • Notifies supervisor of incidents or conflicts that affect normal business operations or guest services

This is a Part Time position available at both the Holiday Inn Express’ Port Royal Tavern and the Hampton Inn’s Little Bar.
Summary:

Responsible for preparing alcoholic beverages for customers seated in the bar area in compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements. Ensures customer alcohol orders are filled quickly and according to recipes. Legal requirements for the service of alcohol are met. Bar inventories correspond to cash register totals.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Greets customers, obtains orders and prepares all alcoholic beverages in compliance with all local, state, and federal requirements
  • Prepares and stocks garnishes and mixes for use in the bar
  • Requisitions and receives all liquor, beer, and wine products and maintains par set for the bar
  • Collects payments from customers following established cash handling procedures.
  • Serves beverages to lounge customers
  • Opening, organization, and setup of the bar and lounge area. Including cleaning lounge area tables
  • Closing and cleaning of bar area and lounge. Including locking and securing all products
  • Cleans and organizes area
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Must have basic math skills including understanding units of measure
  • Must be able to observe and differentiate between monetary denominations
  • Must be able to move 30 lbs.

This is a Full Time position available at the Hampton Inn – Savannah Historic District.
Summary

Assist the sales and marketing team with administrative duties including but not limited to client and guest correspondence, account management, customer follow up, and VIP reservations and recognition. This position will coordinate client needs and client events. The Sales Coordinator will maintain files, systems, and communication to other departments as directed by the sales and marketing team.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate with Sales Managers to execute group booking accordingly in appropriate systems
  • Communicate group changes to Front Desk and the Sales Team
    Handles and books corporate client reservations and requests
  • Regularly assist in booking individual reservations that fall into special rate categories
  • Set up accurate billing for each individual, corporate client, and groups
  • Run group reports and continually maintains group bookings in property systems
  • Take sales leads both over the phone and thorough email, and then processes them through the appropriate systems
  • Conduct pre-arrival calls and emails collecting the following information: ETA, reason for stay, preferences, requests, membership numbers, etc.
  • Coordinate with Sales and Front Desk regarding VIP reservations to ensure appropriate communication, room blocking, and amenity execution
  • Review all special requests and preferences for day-of arrivals and communicate appropriately to Front Desk, Sales, and Housekeeping
  • Act as a liaison between the Sales and Operations Departments of the hotel to ensure a successful event for the clients and all of the client’s needs are met and communicated accurately and efficiently to all departments of the hotel
  • Tracks and communicates current rates, rate changes, and all promotions as needed
  • Able to provides accurate information about the city and the surrounding attractions
