2016 Opening Day Review
Opening day for the Savannah Bananas started off with a little rain, but turned into a night of family fun! After the team arrived on the field riding a Savannah Trolley, the game kicked off when one lucky kid, chosen from amongst the 4000 fans, got to throw the “first banana”. Between innings we were entertained by the players dancing, the Savannah Nanas, an adorable turtle vs toddler race, and so much more family fun. While they slipped up this game losing 8-5 to the Blowfish, you’ll be sure to have fun when you visit and catch a game!
